Board Certified American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Hyder’s goal with her patients is simple. She does not only want to heal people, but also simplify the process of explaining the complexities of medicine, which at times can be very hard to understand. Her approach with communicating with her patients follows suite. She is known for her quick knowledge as well as her ability to have honest discussions with her patients, even when more research is needed. If she does not know the answer, you can bet that she will find it. Her desire to heal people started with her Undergrad at Villanova University in Philadelphia, PA where she received a bachelor’s in science, comprehensive in 1998. She attended medical school not much farther at Temple University of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA earning the title of MD. After her internship at Montgomery Family Medicine in Norristown, PA she found herself on the west coast at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. The west coast was lucky enough to keep her and she has built a life here instilling herself in the community for the past 16 years, 14 of them being here at West Hills Healthcare. She and her husband Todd, who is a local dentist, enjoy chasing their three kids, watching their activities, golfing, and traveling. They especially love to travel back to extended family in Pennsylvania.
After spending a considerable amount of time all over the country and abroad, Dr. Brandi Mendonca, MD, MPH, chose to settle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The best part of her practice is getting to know her patients. She enjoys the challenge of partnering with them to achieve better health and quality of life as well as helping patients navigate the medical system.
Charles Robert (Robby) Campbell, IV, DO, is the newest member of the medical staff at West Hills Healthcare Clinic. Dr. Campbell settled in the Pacific Northwest in 2019 after time spent in Ohio, Florida, Kenya, and Japan.

Elizabeth Calvillo S.(PAC) loves taking care of people of all ages and from all walks of life. After completing her undergraduate studies, she served the immigrant and Hispanic community through a church program and later at Washington County Health Department. In time, she realized she wanted to further her education and serve as a physician assistant. Elizabeth enjoys the Yamhill Valley because of its beauty, small population, community spirit, and that it is home to a large Hispanic community.
Joy Mauldin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, operating in the capacity as an Integrative Behavioral Health Provider and Supervisor here West Hills Healthcare Clinic. She is currently developing the Integrative Behavioral Health Program which has a training component of doctoral students that allows having the students provide a much-needed service of Neurological, Cognitive, Achievement, and Personality Assessment, which will help patients find diagnostic clarity and potentially receive much needed services. Joy’s journey to West Hills Healthcare began as a child being raised in South Carolina. She states that even as young kid everyone would confide in her and seek her advice, which lead her on a path of helping others. After completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Religion at Charleston Southern University, she moved south and attended Southwestern Seminary in Fortworth Texas. This is where she acquired two master’s degrees, one being in Marriage and Family Counseling and the other in Christian Education. For her third master’s degree she attended George Fox University for her third master’s degree and doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. She then completed her residency in Los Angeles, at Reiss-Davis Child Study Center. Dr. Mauldin has a long list of accomplishments including the development of a successful program at Childhood Health Associates of Salem, which went on to be filmed by the Oregon Health Authority and used as a model for the State of Oregon and Colorado. She has served in many capacities for several Counties, groups for the Childhood Health Associates of Salem (CHAOS) as well as many committees creating pathways to care for childhood obesity, autism and ADHD. These pathways are used not only at Salem Health but throughout the entire County. Currently, while not in the clinic Joy is working on a county Quality Advisor Community, to help programs grow and develop within her clinic as well as other health systems in the county. She has also developed, PPI Consulting Firm, which consults with Health, Education, and Religious Systems to help them fulfill their mission as a system. One day a week Dr. Mauldin sees patients at her private practice in Sherwood. In what spare time she does have, she thoroughly enjoys traveling. She attributes traveling to foreign locations as the key to her life and when she is able to be present in moments with locals and learn new things she had only read about; she feels as if she is her best self. Dr. Mauldin also enjoys entertaining friends and exploring her now home, the great Northwest.
